FCCLA advisor Mrs. Escobedo invites a monthly guest chef  to come visit Sanger High School to teach the culinary students new techniques and information about careers in the hospitality industry.

The Education and Training students enjoyed hearing from Cook Children's Hospital staff members.  We learned about being a child life specialist, homebound teachers, canine therapy, child psychologist, and fundraising for the hospital.

FCCLA members will be attending the Career Day hosted by the Dallas Mavericks this coming March.

Education and Training students are placed in internship setting with teachers throughout the district and qualify to receive the Educational Aide I certification upon graduation and turning 18.

Culinary Art students receive internship training throughout the year working in the Old No. 6 Food Truck throughout the year including tailgating at home games.  The program also provides hospitality rooms and cater private events.
