Recognition
Sanger Board of Education recognizes FCCLA members for qualifying and competing at the National FCCLA Leadership Conference. Members receive reconigiton at the regional, state and national conference for STAR Events and Power of One. Members that decide to Say Yes to FCS are honored on signing day. FCS students receive recognition for industry certifications in a special school wide assembly. And lastly, participants in the Denton County Youth Fair receive ribbons, the opportunity to sell their items in the silent auction and Grand Champion sells in the live auction. This past year Gabby Giddens won Grand Champion in the food division with her amazing apple pie. We also had several others win best of class and earn the opportunity to sell in the silent auction. Members may also apply for the Blue Ribbon Scholarship their senior year for participating for two or more years.

Seniors 2021-2022
FCCLA graduation cords are given to graduating seniors who have been active members of FCCLA. We have 13 senior members who qualified for a graduation cord this year past year.

Denton County Youth Fair
2021-2022
We had several participants in the Denton County Youth Fair in the Family and Consumer Science category.

Gabby Giddens received Overall Grand Champion in the Senior Food division, competing in the pastries category. She qualified to sell her product in the DCYF Premium Sale.

Natalie Gonzalez received Best in Class for cake pops, qualifying for the silent auction.

Gracie Giddens received Best in Class for creative cakes, qualifying for the silent auction. She also received a second place ribbon for her cupcakes.

Emmy Sederholm received Best in Class for cookies, qualifying for the silent auction.

Alan Lemus received Best in Class for decorated cakes, qualifying for the silent auction.

Paige Kirby received Best in Class for dresses. She also received second place ribbons for her quick bread and cupcakes.
