Member Recognition

The FCCLA chapter at Sanger High School respects its members and wants to ensure that they are acknowledged.

At our annual end of year banquet, member are recognized for their participation and receive much deserved recognition.  Seniors have the opportunity to earn graduation cords and members may also receive the school letter jacket for qualifying in state level events.

The Sanger School Board also recognized National Qualifiers with a special presentation and members receive certificates.

Membership Dues

To be a member of Sanger FCCLA, you must pay a $25 membership fee at the beginning of the school year.  Prospective members need to contact Mrs. Escobedo, Mrs. Langley or Ms. Petr.  Members must be enrolled or previously been enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science course.

Membership Benefits

The FCCLA is an excellent organization. Throughout the school year, we get to go on fun field trips; my chapter went to the State Fair in the fall semester and will go to a Mavericks game this semester. The opportunity to participate in the Youth Fair is another advantage of joining in FCCLA. The Youth Fair is a place where you can enter in any category they provide, compete against other participants in that category, and if you win overall, move on to the silent auction where bidders place wagers on your item.
